This innovative program with<strong> goal of equal access opportunities<\/strong> of the inhabitants of remote areas of mainland Greece as well as islands of our country <strong>in high-level health services<\/strong>, this time visited the Pomakochoria of Thrace where minority Muslim populations live, in the very mountainous areas of the Rhodope Mountains in the Prefecture of Xanthi, the Prefecture of Rodopi and the Prefecture of Evros. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Pomaks <\/strong>\u03b5\u03af\u03bd\u03b1\u03b9 \u03bc\u03af\u03b1 class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to our participation in this mission of national importance where we offered our medical services, we had also assumed the responsibility of planning the visit of the Units, since last July we were again in beautiful Thrace and had the necessary cooperation with the Regional Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Mr. X. Metio and the services of the Region. We also then visited all the mountainous areas of the Rhodope mountain range where, together with the local representatives of these minority communities, we decided on the settlements that would be the destinations for the establishment of the Units in the 3 prefectures of Thrace.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to Mobile Medical Units <strong>the Mobile Sports have visited 55 destinations, examined 18,687 of our fellow human beings in 49,264 appointments of all specialties and offered 33,754 laboratory tests <\/strong>\u03cc\u03c0\u03c9\u03c2 \u03bc\u03b1\u03c3\u03c4\u03bf\u03b3\u03c1\u03b1\u03c6\u03af\u03b5\u03c2, \u03b1\u03ba\u03c4\u03b9\u03bd\u03bf\u03b3\u03c1\u03b1\u03c6\u03af\u03b5\u03c2,
